Their duties include meeting with prospective tenants to determine lease terms, receiving security deposits, rent payments, preparing lease documents, and coordinating with current tenants to discuss lease changes and lease renewals terms.
Leasing Manager Duties and Responsibilities Leasing Managers perform many organizational tasks to help tenants and lessees find the property that meets their needs and best promotes the business.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
Meeting potential tenants and guiding them on tours of available units Appropriately and strategically marketing available properties and units Following up on leads of potential tenants Performing background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities for prospective tenants to meet leasing qualifications Preparing leasing documents for tenants using property standards and regulations Secures resident signature(s) on all required paperwork before move-in Handling the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues Building a rapport with current tenants Make sure all utilities are cut off after a flip is complete and no later than the tenant move in date.
Resident Relations Listens to all resident requests, complaints, and comments Ensures all work orders are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with completed service requests Assists with enforcing policies and rules of the community Leasing Manager skills and qualifications Understanding of the real estate industry, including laws, policies and best practices Computer proficiency, including MS Office:
Word, Excel, and Outlook Sales and marketing skills Personable, professional, outgoing Good organization, project management and time management abilities Great customer service skills Efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication Multitasking and time management skills Collaboration and teamwork abilities Job Type:
